Rotary Table Counter Chuck

A Rotary Table Counter Chuck grips the second end of the part with its Chuck; it is used instead of or in conjunction with a Tailstock. It is preferred for short-and-thick parts or jobs where both ends require a reference.

If alignment between the counter chuck and the main chuck is not established, step marks will occur during peripheral milling. Checking with a dial indicator and gauge during installation is mandatory.
