Rotary Table Tailstock

The rotary table tailstock supports long or thin parts from the opposite end, reducing runout and deflection. Length adjustment of the sliding/guideway tailstock is critical.

Machining long shafts without a tailstock increases vibration and dimensional deviation. If a tailstock is preferred over a chuck at the opposite end, the center hole / tailstock center must be prepared.
